Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how HairGlam ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use the HairGlam - Hairstyle AI mobile application. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information we process
- Photos you provide. When you take or select a photo to try on a hairstyle or hair color, that image is processed to generate your preview. Photos are used only to provide the app's core feature.
- Purchase information. When you subscribe, your purchase is processed by Apple. We receive purchase and subscription status (but not your payment card details) through Apple and our subscription provider, RevenueCat, to unlock and manage your access.
- Diagnostics & usage data. We may collect anonymous app performance, crash, and usage data to keep the app stable and improve features. This data is not used to identify you.
2. How your photos are handled
Your photos are used solely to create the AI hairstyle and hair-color previews you request. When you choose a photo, it is sent securely to our server and forwarded to Google Gemini (Google's AI image service) to generate your result, then deleted immediately after processing — we do not store your photos on our servers, and they are never used to train AI models. Styled results you save are stored on your device only. We do not sell your photos, and we do not use them for advertising.
3. How we use information
- To provide the app's hairstyle and hair-color try-on features.
- To manage your subscription and restore purchases.
- To fix bugs, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
4. Third-party services
- Apple — App Store distribution and in-app subscription billing.
- RevenueCat — subscription management (receives an anonymous identifier and subscription status, never your payment details).
- Google Gemini API — AI image processing of the photos you submit, solely to generate your requested preview.
- Cloudflare — secure API infrastructure.
These providers handle data under their own privacy policies and are required to provide the same or equal protection of your data as described in this policy.
5. Data sharing & selling
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above, or where required by law.
6. Data retention & deletion
You can stop all data processing at any time by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of any data associated with you, contact us at the email below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Children's privacy
HairGlam is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
